If you are interested in running C3 sleeper sites, you need to live in a different class of wormhole that has a C3 static, such a C2, for example.
I have encountered C2s with static C2s so I am pretty sure C3s have static C3s.

Nope. C3 wormholes have either D845 (High Sec), U210 (Low Sec), or K346 (Null Sec) as their sole system static. That's it, its true!
Bo Pipe is absolutely correct in his statement.
Where people have gotten their misconception about C3's having more than one static is going into a C3, dropping probes, and scanning the static as well as another DYNAMIC wormhole randomly spawned (T405-C4, I182-C2, N968-C3); and then wrongly A$$UMING that wormhole is a static (and perhaps porting that data into Staticmapper). If they had bothered to stick around for 17-25 hours and doing another scan, they would have discovered their mistake.
So all wormholes except C3s have statics to other wormholes?

On a completely unrelated note:
Things not to do in a WH:
Do not go to sleep orbiting a GSC during a wormhole siege. Someone may just pick up the can :)

Really depends. Hs will make logistics easier but a LS or NS will reduce the amount of visitors. LS is a decent compromise between accessibility and danger imo.

Never done any myself, but understand that the best two ladar site return 600M+ per site. I guess if you get one or two of them a week, and can clear the sleeper guards, then it's not a bad income stream to support whatever else you're up to.
A single character with gas harvesting 5 can make 200-300m an hour on those sites. "Instrumental Core". Best income to be made from any WH and can be soloed, if you can clean out the 2 BS spawns. A really good WH if you could find one is any WH with a C5 or C6 static. Just keep collapsing the static and scan out these gas sites.
